The following disclosure is intended to fulfill the requirements of the California Senate Bill #SB577, passed in September 2002, affecting all non-licensed helping professionals offering alternative health care.

 

1. Karen’s Energy Healing Hypnotherapists are not licensed physicians or a psychotherapists, are not qualified to diagnosis, treat or prescribe for physical or mental conditions.

 

1. The use of hypnotherapy, Reiki, and Energy Therapies are alternative and complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state of California.

 

1. The services offered by Karen’s Energy Healing are not licensed by the state of California but the training and education by the HCH Institute has received is approved and registered by the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education, The International Board of Regression Therapy, The Professional Board of Hypnotherapy, the California Board of Registered Nurses and the California Board of Behavior Science.

 

1. Karen’s Energy Healing services include Hypnotherapy, Coaching, Reiki, and an Energy Therapy process called Emotional Freedom Technique for the purpose of pain management, goal setting, performance enhancement, self-healing, regression therapy, spiritual emergence issues, trauma, relationship issues, learning enhancement, stress management, career issues, exploring life purpose, personal growth and self discovery.

 

None of these services are intended to be a substitute for medical or psychological care. Any issue beyond the scope of Karen’s Energy Healing through HCH Institute training and practice will be referred to a licensed practitioner.

 

1. It is the goal of Karen’s Energy Healing to provide clients with a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients can gain insights into established patterns of behaviors and work towards transformation and personal growth. Because all of the services and modalities are based on the empowerment model, all clients do their own work and healing with the guidance of a co- creative facilitator.

 

1. Karen’s Energy Healing has completed the HCH Institute California approved 200 hour training in Hypnotherapy and are Certified Hypnotherapists. Your intern has also been trained in EFT and may be a Reiki Practitioner and a Personal Coach.

 

1. Information shared in sessions is confidential unless a client reports that he or she is a danger to him or her self or another person. Ethics and laws require child abuse and elder abuse is reported to the appropriate agencies.
